TRX and sunshine

Tate woke up feeling much better a couple days ago; his cough and his knee pain are both less. They’re not gone, but they’re going away. He started taking a daily walk again, and he even asked to start his exercises again. Woo hoo! He is weak from being sick so long and he’s not ready to put down his cane, but he’ll get there.

Tate’s appointment today went well. His ANC was 1270, the rest of his blood work was within range, and he gained a pound since his appointment last week. He got his 25% dose of Vincristine and will start a 5-day steroid pulse tonight. According to the Nurse Practitioner Angie, the Prednisone will likely clear up his cough, which would be wonderful. On the flip side, the steroids always wreck his joints, so by Sunday morning his cough may be gone and his limp worse. We shall see.

We can always tell when Tate feels the chemotherapy kick in. He brings his hand to his forehead to cope with the pain.
Post chemo nap. At this point even the cat is annoyed by how many pictures I take – ha ha.
Tate’s friend Emma stopped by! It was a wonderful surprise. We <3 Emma!
flowers this week

It’s a relief we don’t have more to report this week. Things are looking up!
