topsy-turvy

Things haven’t exactly been going in a straight line for Tate lately. His back is finally on the mend after whatever happened while he was getting his chemo, but he spent Friday and the weekend fighting a sinus thing, and now that that’s improving he sprained his ankle.
Tate’s resilience continues to amaze me. He is managing so many different levels of healing right now, and he has been doing it all in the best mood. He keeps limping to the kitchen for pretzel bread and the juice Grandpa bought him or to say hi. Lately when I look at him I just can’t believe how lucky I am.

He is darn right amazing. He made me laugh when I talked to him the other day. It was I who needed my spirits lifted, not Tate!
Thank you, Tate
Thank you, Sally
Thank you, Greg
Thank you, Scott
gosh this list could go on forever!
Love you all!
I miss being able to hop on a plane and coming to visit i.e. get in the way.

Tate, you look great! I think of you guys often and am grateful for the blog. This virus is scary for all of us and gives us a good idea of what you have been living with for a couple of years now. Hopefully it won’t be too long until PT and OT can resume and I’m sure they will be very careful. And I still owe Tate a lunch (not sushi!)
