Nope

Blood tests at Monday’s appointment revealed Tate’s counts are too low to resume treatment this week.  Somehow he took a little dip, and his doctor said taking a week off to build up is a good thing.  I think Tate needs the break; he has been sleeping so much and has dark circles under his eyes.  The good news from the appointment is that Tate can stop taking the appetite stimulants unless his weight begins to slip.  That means four less pills for Tate to take every day.

In this picture Tate is being prepped for a procedure that, due to his counts, didn’t happen.  I know it’s not about me, but standing near Tate’s nurse Michelle I look like I come from the land of giants.  Tate does too, with his legs dangling so far over the exam table.  We’re so out of proportion compared to everything else in the picture it kind of made me laugh.
