A Better Day

Today Tate was awake much more and even spent time sitting in his wheelchair studying Magic cards. If anyone out there wants to come over and play MTG with Tate, you are most welcome!
Today a special childhood friend visited Tate and brought him an extraordinary gift. She found his class picture from 1st or 2nd grade and drew this for him.
This is Taryn. She is seriously cool.
Tate’s pain seems to be under control, but eating is still not going great. Almost not going at all, actually. Fortunately, Dwayne was happy to step in and help Tate finish that last piece of watermelon.

Sally, this blog is wonderful! Thanks for posting updates on Tate’s treatments . The pictures are endearing (heart) . We keep Tate in our daily prayers, asking for comfort and healing. We love your family.

Hey Sally and Greg and Scott and Tate, I would love to make dinner for you all on Sunday. Please let me know of any diet restrictions, likes and dislikes, etc. Italian food is my specialty, but I’m well versed in pretty much anything you would like and that Tate can handle. We think of you often, and we are sending positive thoughts your way. Thanks for keeping us up to date!
Dinner Sunday would be wonderful! Thank you. We love Italian food. The only restriction in general is that Tate cannot eat anything that is not cooked thoroughly (not even a salad).
I just figured out that I had to click on the day to read the rest of the story. DAH!
What an awesome gift and friend. There are benefits of living in the same geographic neighborhood all your life.
❤️❤️❤️ Amazing sentiments and writing Sally!
